Auto save, anyone?
I feel Adam’s pain! The TEXTAREA does generally suck. Maybe someone will come up with a great ajax application for this - at least for an “auto save” feature. I’d say I’d do it, but the moment I say I will, it’ll be years before I get around to it!
By the way, I’m not fond of the term “ajax” for these “new” apps, and “webplications” is even worse! But I’m glad to see folks finally catching up to me!
Maybe I didn’t have the cool ideas like Google, but I knew this stuff was good!

You know, I’m not too fond of “ajax” and “weblications” either.
How about we just go back to calling it all “Dynamic HTML”?
Sounds good to me!
So weird to actually find your latest post as a Trackback on Mr. Rifkin’s blog. Weird, and very cool!
One thing’s for sure, I’m excited about all the talk and action that is occuring these days on the web development front. I’m looking at an ecommerce project with renewed vigor and hoping that I can capture some of these new ideas. We’ll see.
Yeah, it was cool to get real comment - not spam - but then from a someone like Mr. Rifkin was way cool, taking the time to post on my lowly blog!
I think both the client and server side of web technology are really starting to get someplace we can get some good work done!
Good luck on the ecommerce project!
