mt 2.64 and mtamazon

August 16th, 2003 osterday

well, i finally got around to upgrading from mt 2.62 to 2.64.

also, i installed mtamazon to do cool stuff – like displaying what i’m reading and my wishlist. check my side bar for my wishlist. to properly use mtamazon and maybe make some pocket change, i signed up for a associate id and a dev token. web services – gotta love ‘em!

the only problem i had with installing mtamazon was that it required xml::simple which required xml::parser. my perl was a little out of date, so i did a perl -MCPAN -e shell and install Bundle::CPAN, which took a while. then i was ready to do a install XML::Parser – which gave errors so i finally had to do a force install XML::Parser. the errors were with t/astress.t, but everything works though, so i’m happy.
