mini-itx…
ok, about time i post something tech related, right?
not sure which blog i was reading when i stumbled onto the mini-itx web site, but it’s got some really cool stuff. i thought the shuttle cubes were cool, but these new mini-itx motherboards and boxes are really sweet! tiny too! the site must be in europe cuz all the prices are in damn pounds or euros or some shit like that. i hope these are not too pricey - i’d love to build a new divx/xvid player for the media room…
did i tell you that i built my mom a new computer with one of those little shuttle cases. it rocks. she went ahead and got a nice little 15″ flat panel to go with it, and i helped her get on zoomtown this past week. it’s like she leapt forward 25 years in internet/tech time. her old machine was a P166.
a friend at work made his into a media pc like you suggested. they are very sweet. i almost wish i didn’t have this huge beast of a system on my desk right now.
