return of the micropayments…

several years ago “micropayment” was the buzzword and then seemed to fade into oblivion as so many cool tech ideas do. well it look like it’s trying to make a comeback. peppercoin is touting a micropayment solution for “early 2003″. peppercoin’s founder is ron rivest – the r in rsa – and of course has the “patent-pending payments protocol” to back up the system. maybe it’s time…
(i’m not sure what hot chicks and other model types on the website have to do with anything, though.)
