well wasted2’s coming along nicely. got the two pentium iii’s and 352 mb ram (odd number i know!) working. the red hat 8.0 finished and we burned off the iso’s. red hat 8.0 is slick! i’ll need some time to see if it’s a warranted improvement from 7.3.
i’m not too much of a gamer, but there’s been a lot of hype about unreal tournament 2003. since i did get a nvidia geforce4 (only a mx440, though) a while ago, i thought i should put it to the test, so i downloaded the windows demo. ut2003 is pretty amazing! i was getting into it and beat the ‘bots in capture the flag – that’s saying a lot coming from me! i snagged the linux demo code so i could run a server – i’m behind a firewall so i was basically just shooting trees, but it’s cool so that’s that. wasted2 should make a fine ut2003 server, though!
