gattaca and dna chemical partners
ok, maybe everyone knows this, but i’m posting before looking it up… i came across an article in the april 2002 issue of discover entitled bad genes, good drugs that got me thinking. in the article, i learned that DNA has a biochemical code of A’s, C’s, G’s and T’s. the first thing that popped into my head from a illistration of a jumble of A’s, C’s, G’s and T’s was “GATTACA” - yes, i’m a big fan of the movie. so is that where the name came from… i’ll have to check!
not definitive, but at least someone was thinking the same thing.
